Daycare Summer Camp Teacher/ Floater

We are looking for a qualified Summer Camp Asst.
Teacher and Floater.
You will be responsible for caring for children 5 to 12 years of age during the Summer months.
When school age- students are not at Center, you will rotate to classrooms in need of your support (ranging from infants to 4 years).
The Summer Camp Teacher must have a great love and patience for children.
He/she will be required to attend field trips with the students and create and implement fun activities and games with the students.
He/she will work in conjunction with another Summer Camp Teacher to ensure each child's needs are met.
The ideal candidate will be a caring individual who enjoys teaching young children with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
You must have a GED or H.

Diploma and have completed the Early Childhood courses as designed by the state Child Care authority.
*Responsibilities* * Provide a safe and loving environment for the children in his/her care * Change diapers as needed * Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times * Provide fun and engaging activities for After-School students * Attend Field Trips * Track children’s progress and report to parents * Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche * Collaborate with other educators * Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards *Skills* * Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher * Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods * Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms * Excellent communication and instructional skills * Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable * Certification in child CPR Job Type: Full-time Pay: $9.
00 - $12.
