Machine Specialist

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Perform maintenance pm and safety inspection prior to operating equipment.
Lock/out Tag/out.
Review order and/or route card.
Use overhead crane for material handling and installation and removal of tooling.
Instrumentally set proper specifications to run machine according to the parameters identified in the routing.
Use micrometers to check dimensions of material.
Use material handling equipment to retrieve 55 gallon drums of coolant.
All other duties as assigned.
Various small tools are used that weigh less than 5 lbs.
and they include ratchets, Allen wrenches, impact wrenches, and pipe wrenches.
Qualifications: Must be able to read a tape measure.
Must be able to perform basic mathematics.
Must be willing to work different shifts and different scheduled hours when necessary.
High school diploma or GED
