We are actively seeking a Operator/CDL Driver at Synergen Drilling located in Shreveport, Louisiana that would be responsible for mobilizing and demobilizing equipment to and from job sites.
The CDL Driver shall assist operations in manual labor and equipment operation once arriving to the job site.
Job duties are as described below:
Operate combination commercial vehicles with air brakes and manual transmission
Perform manual labor duties while on job sites
Move drilling spoils with mini-excavator and compact track loaders on job sites
Maintain inventory of straps, chains, and binders on haul truck
Maintain a clear Class A drivers license in compliance with all DOT regulations
Perform pre, in-route, and post trip inspections of commercial vehicles
Track hours of service and maintain compliance according to DOT regulations
A qualified applicant must posses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Possess a current CDL
1+ years operating a commercial vehicle
Strong organizational skills
Mechanical troubleshooting skills
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
Stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
The noise level is usually moderate to high
Occasionally working outdoors in elements/weather
Overnight travel will be minimal under normal operational conditions.
Being on-call is required
